Python day 12
Today we will work with the character strings in Python a little bit.
1.Swap Case
The task is to swap cases. Convert all lowercase letters to uppercase letters and vice versa.
Example:
Pretty -> pRETTY
Solution:
We are lucky Python has a swapcase Function we can use it directly
def swap_case(s): t=.s.swapcase() return t
Output:
Have a Nice Day hAVE A nICE dAY
I am still wondering when this function is useful?

2. String Split and Join
You are given a string. Split the string on a " "
(space) delimiter and join using a -
hyphen.
Note: A string is a collection of Characters
def split_and_join(line): t=line.split(" ") t1="-".join(t) return t1 split_and_join(i am cool) #output i-am-cool
3. Everybody is wonderful!
Suppose we are generating a greeting card with “Hallo, Firstname Lastname, Du bist Wunderbar !”
def welcome_n(a,b): print("Hallo %s %s, Du bist Wunderbar !" %(a, b) ) Welcome_n("Nora","N") # Output Hallo Nora N, Du bist Wunderbar !
“Wunderbar” is my favorite Deustch word.
Nora’s brother Lucas used to say “Wunderbar, fangya ! Wonderbar” 🙂
Happy Python Learning!!!🐍
